Energy Performance
The Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan fulfills the reporting requirements of the Green Energy Act, providing the Hospital with a framework to support continued energy and sustainability initiatives within the built environment as well as operations and programs. The plan further identifies opportunities for continued energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives to build on existing plans.

Solar Panels
The Deep River and District Hospital has installed solar panels as part of our energy efficiency efforts. After 5 years of planning, iSolara Solar Power of Ottawa completed installation of the FIT (Feed-in-Tarrif) solar panel project in March 2016. Any funds generated from the project, after expenses, will be used to support the hospital.
